What attracted you to Ovako?

I heard about Ovako during my studies at KTH, and then I had the opportunity to do my thesis at Ovako, which was a very exciting project about machine learning/process modeling of the deoxidation process in the ladle furnace at the steel plant in Hofors.

What does a typical workday look like for you?

My workdays at Ovako are very interesting and fun. I work in the billet manufacturing process at the rolling mill, and the work here involves a lot of process data to develop and improve the process. I collaborate closely with production, technical customer service, maintenance, the lab, and other departments within BU Hofors-Hellefors.

What is the most fun part of your job?

I enjoy working with my knowledgeable and helpful colleagues. We also have fun together outside of work with activities like playing padel, which we do quite often.

What do you do when you're not working at Ovako?

I'm very interested in sports and run all year round. I also enjoy walking, hiking, and cycling.
