Chains and lifting devices are examples of products with high demands on strength and reliability, and often also wear resistance. Ovako is in a strong position to meet these demands with our three complementing metallurgical routes.
Apart from our large offering of engineering steels, the new family of Hybrid Steel also offers opportunities, especially where corrosion resistance and weldability are important considerations.
We can supply our steels in round and rectangular shapes. Our flat bar range is of particular interest for several types of lifting devices. We can also supply bar-in-coil for further processing.
Reducing global CO2 emissions demands smarter product solutions and requires rethinking on many levels: more performance benefits per kilogram of product, less raw materials, and substituting fossil fuel energy sources with primarily fossil-free electricity.
